Good Morning!

So, I was watching Platinum Weddings last night on the WE channel and the couple they featured had the cutest idea! When they exited the church, their guests were waving pink ribbions on a stick and it looked really pretty. It''s different - I''ve been to weddings were the couples used sparklers, flower petals, bubbles and butterflies, but not this. Has anyone ever seen this?

That would be great for anyone at a location that doesn''t allow anything to be thrown!

Ribbon dancers!!! I remember those! We used to play with those in gradeschool. It's hard for me to imagine them in the context of a wedding because I remember them in the context of 9-year-olds at recess, haha

but in the pictures you posted they look very cute and whimsical!

ETA: Also, I remember them making this awful slapping sound!! It wouldn't annoy everyone, but if you're thinking of doing this and haven't used ribbon dancers before, I'd suggest testing it out first.

I love the idea...its different from all the others i''ve seen...it looks awesome in BW pic posted where the only color is the ribbons!

VERY neat. I have seen it on wedding websites, but never in actual photos. I think it is a good idea for a wedding where you will have some daylight left.

Not to hijack, but don''t the bride and groom usually exit the church first? I never understand how people end up with these adorable exiting the church photos. I have only been to weddings where people waved sparklers/released butterflies/threw petals/whatever when the couple left the reception.
