Just something funny to share with you guys...

As we all have been studying so hard on charts, measurements, angles, %s and 4Cs for quite some time now, just to find that "perfect" diamond to wear on your finger. Do any of you start to refer to things in diamond terms? Well, this happened last night. As I took a break from the computer, I asked my BF if he would like me to get his evening pill for him (his bad back). He answered, "yes, please...". I wasn''t sure which pill (I was just being nice to make an offer), so I asked him..."which one?". He shouted from his home office... "THE CUSHION CUT ONE!!!". I was rolling on the floor laughing my head off. FInally, I pull myself up from the floor and FOUND the pill!!! Have we all gone nutso over diamonds..?!!

Yes! How else !?

I haven't went through so much optics from high school... my nephews get to do school projects on gem cutting and gemology, and the PS book has become a popular subject at my club. It doesn't help that one of my bosses is a geologist/gemologist like Garry. It's quite bad already

Fortunately, I didn't run too high a bill on this hobby recently.

I guess we didn't realized how much diamond talk we've done in the past few months. Now it just comes out naturally. Even when sleeping we are talking diamonds. (hahahah....)

It certainly has been an interesting experience to go thru and still going thru b/c we haven't found THE one yet!

We were on our way to pizza tonight and my husband websailor was talking about how my mother has to maintain this "perfect image"

, like a D Flawless diamond. Heaven forbid if anyone perceives any imperfection in her.

I started laughing because he has never used diamond jargon in our conversations before. I told him there was a thread on PS I saw today that I had to post this on. Maybe PS is rubbing off on websailor too !!!

YES! Just yesterday, my husband referred to something as being "full of inclusions" that wasn't a diamond. And recently, when I said I really liked something, he asked if I thought it was " D Flawless."

It's a disease.
