Hello!

For those of you who sent your stone out of country to be set, what was the process like over the border there and back. Did they try to charge you duty on the stone that you already purchased?

I will have it insured prior to shipment, I'm just wondering if there is anything else I need to know or do.

Thank you greatly! :wavey:

I don't have any experience with this but it may depend on what countries you are dealing with?

They will probably try but depending on where you live you may be able to fill out a form to request it back.

On the form you send it with you can also say: NOT A SALE, stone will be returned after set into a custom setting.

I've only ever sent to David Klass from Canada, I pay for tracked shipping to him. Whenever he has sent me back a set ring I haven't had to pay duty etc, and he ships it overnight fedex I believe.

I'd be shipping from Canada too, did you also use FEDEX? So I should choose tracked shipping? Since it'll be insured, I figured not to put the value on it, did you go that route as well? Thanks!! That was a lot of questions, lol.
