Happy new week all!
I just wanted to touch on the subject of motivation this week. We are all human and sometimes it is easier to stick to our plans than others. If you find it tough going at times, try to make a backup plan of tips that might help you. For example I have a trick I use to get me working out. If I just don''t want to do it I make a deal with myself. I promise that I will do 20 minutes and make myself do it, often then I have a terrific workout for some reason and end up going for my full 45 minutes. It is rare that I actually do only 20 minutes, sometimes the thought of working out can be far worse than actually doing it!
With food try something different. It is easy to feel deprived at times so try to jazz up your healthy choices with a new fancy balsamic vinegar ( great on salads), a little flavourful cheese and especially this time of year make the most of all the fresh fruits and vegetables which are now available. A little change can be a great thing and help keep us on track.
And above all remember to congratulate yourself on all your hard work and effort, it isn''t always easy to stick to our plans and as this is a lifelong journey it is very useful to acquire a '' toolbox'' that we can use of tips and techniques to keep us on track. Sometimes one '' tool'' might not work or fix our concern, in that case try another until you find something that does work.
As always patience, persistance and perseverence wins the race.
Have a great week
