Since the New Year and Christmas have now passed who is still a lady in waiting (without a ring)? I suppose there is still Valentines day left as a pretty big holiday to propose, is anyone expecting (or hoping for) a proposal then? I am new on here so if there is anyone on here close to my age (I am 22) I would love to chat, maybe share some frustrations with being in our 20''s and waiting for a ring. I posted my whole story on another thread but I will paste it below if anyone wants to know a bit about my backround, and maybe you could tell me a bit about yours too!! I would love to talk to the rest of you gals on here as well no matter your age!

Hello everyone! I was just searching the web browsing around trying to find anyone else in my situation, and that is when I found you ladies! All of you are waiting for an engagment ring just like I am, so while I am in waiting I thought I would be able to talk to all of you on here! A little bit about myself, well, I am 22 years old, and currently I am living with my boyfriend in his house. My boyfriend is 26 years old and we have been dating now for a little over 2 and a half years. He has always been, well, very careful when it comes to making relationship decisions like moving to that next step. I have been living here only for about 4 months or so. His parents are both still married, and my parents just recently got a divorce. But both parents are basically fine with us living together before marriage/ engagment (although my mom really wants me to put a fire under his butt to propose already haha). I recently had to go thru his younger brother (who is my age) get engaged to his gf of 2-3 years, although I was very happy for them both I was also sad left wondering, "but where''s MY ring". Very recently (as in just 2 weeks now) things have really started looking up! My bf has recently promised me that we will be married, that he wants to be my "Mr. Forever", he even bought a new car saying that he would not have gotten this certain model (a two seater) unless we were going to be together always. SO yeah...in a nutshell that is my story. He has dropped some hints as to the time span he was thinking before a proposal, he said when I mentioned spring as one of my fav seasons that march or april sounded good, but he is still being pretty vauge. When I mentioned just going and eloping he said just please let me propose to you. So I hope that all of these new things that have happened mean that there is a ring in my future! Right now i am LOVEing the hearts on fire diamonds, of all the diamonds in the store those really caught my eye! Oh and me and my bf and my mom went to look at rings for the first time around the 12th of December of 09.

After we were done he walked me to my car and that was that! We hung out a bunch before we went official and started dating exclusivly
