I just wanted to say hi, since I recently became engaged and am transitioning over from the LIW board. I''m excited about wedding planning, but it''s already a little overwhelming and I''ve barely started the preliminary things!
The wedding won''t be for 18-21 months, which is necessary for a bunch of practical reasons (I''m a law student and my first year isn''t a good time for planning, as well as financial aid concerns, etc etc). I''d love to get married in my hometown but it will be difficult for many of our friends to come and it''s more important to have them there with us, so the wedding will probably be somewhere in the Greater Philly area. If anyone else has gotten married or attended weddings around here, I''m completely open to thoughts, comments, suggestions...
I love this board because people are so nice to one another, so I''ll probably be asking lots of advice when things really start rolling along, but for now I just wanted to introduce myself!
