Hello, Mrs.....

I was grocery shopping with my ff today and we used a discount swipe card. when it is swiped it says the customer name.

It''s my ff''s card and I used it and she called me Mrs "Smith". It was nice to be called by his last name. He said he saw that I got kinda excited about it....how lame am I!

My SO and I travel quite a bit and everytime I''m in a hotel room and call the front desk they always say, "is there anything else I can do for you, Mrs. ______?"

At first it made me crack up, but now it doesn''t phase me. I always tell my SO "I''m not Mrs ______; your mother is."

How cute... This has happened to C and I a few times. I secretly love it, but C always pats me on the butt and says, "One day..."

I do the same thing!

The first time it happened i was with my SO. He nudged me in the shoulder and said "did you realize what she said?" The funny thing was i didn''t even notice she called me mrs... and just said "uh huh, you have a good day too! He was laughing at me the whole way home.

His dads side of the family all introduce me as his fiancée! We have corrected them but it never sticks..

Lol....I love it....I sorta had a similar moment except I was the one that subconsiously modified my own last name when I was filling some official documents out...My BF was standing right there and I felt wierd...It''s like I am mentally jumping the gun about a million light years....But, I''ll admit that I am super lame and have made an email address with my "future" last name in it....lol....

I used to be mortified when someone would call me SO''s last name! I can laugh about it now, but I used to get very defensive. SO thinks it funny, and says "you wish". I shrug and say, "maybe, maybe not..."

BF was interviewing with some big law firms and they put him up in saw really nice hotels. I went with him a couple of times and would go shopping while he interviewed. I loved being called Mrs. ___________ while there. It was like a little fairy tale!
