Hi everyone!
This is my first post to say hello! I stumbled across this forum while trying for the millionth time to find someone somewhere who felt like I did. From the looks of it, I''ve found the right place! I do think I''m not quite in the same boat as others here, and I feel like I''m going to sound so ridiculously young and naive and all that whenever I talk of how I feel compared to others here. I thought that even if I wasn''t asking specific advice from those here I could maybe offer some...and maybe not even advice then just comfort I guess?
My situation is going to sound normal for my age. I''ve been with my bf nearly 2.5 years and would marry him in a moment. I completely understand why he hasn''t proposed yet, and don''t even expect him to. We used to talk about the future a lot more, but now he''s hit this wall...and I can''t get a word out of him anymore, his words being why worry about it now, we know it''s going to happen. I just know I''m in for a long long long wait before we get engaged and then probably a fair while before a big day of some kind! Maybe I''m pre-empting the wait and getting as much good advice as I can before the itch really starts to take hold? Ah who knows.
I''m looking forward to getting to know people here...though obviously I hope you all get what you''re waiting for and don''t get a chance to know me!
