I am embarrassed to say that I have been a lurker for many years, and I simply love this site. Because I am tired of not being able to respond to all of your beautiful rings, I decided to finally register today! Since no one seems to understand my obsession, I think this is the place for me to be!!

Although my rings don’t even come close to comparing to most of the beautiful rings you ladies have on here, I love them nonetheless.

First I will introduce my three-stone ring. It originally was a solitaire that I thought needed a little boost. The center stone is GIA certified, .57 F VS1, very good polish/very good symmetry. The center stone sparkles like crazy and people comment on it all of the time, which, considering it is only ½ carat, is a nice compliment. The side stones are .22 each, F VS1, but are not certified. My jeweler told me at the time that he could have gotten them certified, but why would I want to spend the extra money, since they were less than ¼ carat each. I’m not entirely thrilled with the setting of this ring, because I think the three stones are too close together. The channel-set band, which sparkles like crazy, doesn’t exactly sit flush, for some crazy reason I love these two together.

The second ring is an early 20th anniversary present from my husband. It is also GIA certified, .76 E VVS1, excellent/excellent also inscribed H&A. I must have taken hundreds of pictures of this ring but can never capture all of the arrows and fire that I see. It is mesmerizing, especially in the sunlight! It’s very frustrating that I can’t capture the beauty of it!! It’s set in a plain 18K white gold cathedral setting with an 18K white gold band that matches perfectly. I’ve started to toss around the idea of a new, matching more “blingy” setting and band, but not sure which direction to go yet.

I look forward to being a part of this forum!

Welcome! They are both beautiful sets, and personally I don''t mind a gap one bit!

Welcome, Ever! I''m glad you decided to start posting!

And both of those sets are GORGEOUS!!! Can we see profile shots? Please?

And I agree with Neat . . . a little gap never hurt anybody! I have a gap too, and I love it!

Just great! They look beautiful on you! And how nice of your hubby!

I agree with the other ladies, I like the gap. Makes it look unique!

Thank you so much ladies for your kind words!!

Yes my husband does try his best, but when I feel the need for another upgrade, he asks, "are you ever satisfied? (hence the screen name lol).

My original e-ring was a .30 marquise in a yellow gold setting (which I still have). My 10 year anniversary was the .57 round solitaire (which is now the 3 stone), and I received the .76 for our 20th. He jokes around and says that it''s going to be a long road ahead with this diamond thing since we were married so young lol.

I struggle with myself sometimes because I so very much want a square cut. Maybe I can plan that for our silver anniversary!!

I do have profile view pics (not very good I might add), but they are at home, and I''m at work. I''d be happy to post them later! (I envy all of your awesome diamond picture taking skills, how do you do it?)

Oh they are all lovely!

I have a gap too - no biggie.

As for the pics... I probably take 20 pictures for every 1 that ends up posted, LOL.

Both sets are very pretty! Must be fun to be able to mix and match.

My husband always teases and says "who wears different wedding bands?" I told him that it really doesn''t matter at this point how many I wear, particularly since I no longer wear the original. My original marquise was in a unique set in which the the sides of the engagement ring and wedding band overlapped on onto each other. Hard to explain, but it was different. Although I''m not crazy about the diamond (now) or the yellow gold, at the time I didn''t appreciate how unique the set was. Unfortunately though they couldn''t be worn separately and foolishly I had the stone re-set and they melted the setting down (or so the jeweler said - - it''s not someone that I''ve dealt with since then). They made the band too chunky and the setting for the e-ring was terrible. These events are what prompted me to get a new diamond in the first place, and the rest is history. I do have pics of the original setting from my wedding, which I''ll post if anyone cares to see it.

Since my journey I also purchased my husband a new wedding band that is yellow gold/platinum. At first he was against it but his original wedding band no longer fit. I told him that I wanted to get him something more modern (we were married in 1989). He loves it so much more than his original and it looks so much better on his finger.

Welcome to Pricescope eversatisfied? Just tell your husband to buckle his seatbelt. He''s in for quite a ride with you here with us! Both of your sets are lovely.

They are both gorgeous! My e-ring and band have a gap and I love it!

Thanks so much for sharing and welcome!!

Oh wow! Both of your rings are lovely! You are very lucky to have the option of two super classic sets!

I love all of your rings, and I think that your three stone and channel set band compliment eachother nicely.
I am also glad that you have finally decided to join us!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome!

I''m going to try to take some better pictures once the sun comes out again!

I must admit that I felt guilty for a long time for changing then eventually upgrading my original rings and that they weren''t the rings I wore at my wedding, which was very sentimental to me. I''ve even gone as far as wishing I could re-do my wedding just so that my new rings were a part of something big like that. Is that crazy? But then I thought, well what if I upgrade or change the setting again? Oh where does it all end?

My guilt has lessened though somehow knowing that I''m not the only one who has done this!

Love the both! Lovely sets!

Your sets are very pretty. I really like your solitaire! Welcome!

welcome, both of your sets are gorgeous!

Each of your ring sets are very pretty! I am so glad you came out of lurkdom to show us them! Post more pics of these beauties, please!

Welcome!... and beautiful rings!!

I''ve been hunting around my computer to try to find some better pics. Now I know what people mean when they say that pictures just don''t capture the beauty of their stones. I''ve tried both my camera and my son''s camera, and my son''s seems to work better in macro mode.

This one has some nice arrows:

This is my solitaire with my .50 anniversary 3 row pave band. This pic is one of my favorites because it depicts how truly icy white my stone is:

Trying to be a bit artsy; however, after carefully reviewing this pic I''ve determined that my hubby is pretty hard on his ring LOL. Time for a good polish!

Not sure if you can see the white arrows in the re-sized pic, but in the full sized pic they are all there:
