Hello ladies! I need some advice and I am hoping that someome can give me a little direction...

I am going to a bridal shower on saturday morning (11a-3p). I am a bridesmaid in the wedding, although I am not very close with the other bridesmaids. The shower is at a nice function hall and there will be roughly 100 guests.

So here is the dilemma...

I have had a hard time finding a good dress to wear to the shower due to pretty poor selections in stores right now (IMO) and also because with school, I haven''t had a lot of time. Tonight I bought 2 dresses and I am trying to decide between the 2.

Dress #1

This dress is knee length halter, cream with pastel hibiscus flower printing.

pro: I llike the color of this dress for the occasion and time of day.

con: I am worried that due to the halter and my large chest that this dress is too showy.

Dress #2

This dress is just below the knee, has straps, and has vibrant greens and aquas with black accents.

pro: I like the fit of the dress because doesn''t show off cleavage.

con: I am worried that this dress is too vibrant for the time of day.

So I am trying to figure out which one to wear between the 2, but I plan on keeping both because I like them both and have other occasions that I feel could wear each of the dresses.

I don''t know if these descriptions are enough to really know what each is like, but based on this info, what do you girls think??

I think they both sound lovely but I can see your concern with number 1. Two sounds fun! and appropriate.

Go with number 2. You don''t want to be self-conscious about the girls all day, you wouldn''t relax at all. And there''s nothing wrong with vibrant!

Oh yeah, definitely dress #2. There is nothing wrong with a vibrant day dress in springtime! Cleavage in the daytime, on the other hand, can go either way.

I''d go with #2. a) you''re more comfortable with it. b) I''m sure it''ll be fine. Bright colors in the spring is a natural reaction to the blah of winter :) And besides this is a happy occasion so happy colors are totally appropriate.

2 sounds like a fine choice. When it comes to large groups of women, especially in the day, I try to play it safe with the cleavage.

Thanks ladies!! I was definitely leaning towards dress #2 and you have all helped me make the final decision! My friend said (without seeing either), "Wear the bright colored one, if no one else does they will probably all leave thinking they should have been as bold as you!" I''ll just remember that if I am the most vibrant person in the room!
