help authenticating cartier love ring!

Please let me know if this is the wrong forum to post on, but I am really hoping for some help. I want to purchase a second hand cartier love ring, and I have 2 that I have narrowed down on and am looking to buy one of them. However, I am unsure of whether they are authentic. Also, do cartier love rings have 'love' engraved onto the side of the rings? i have attached pictures of the 2 different rings. Apologies for the blurriness of the photos. The yellow gold ring also has the cartier logo on top and the ring information spans 3 lines, which I have never really seen. Any help is appreciated!

The word "Love" on the edge side I believe is only used on the fake rings.

Fake. I purchased one on EBay and took it to the Cartier store and the Sales Associate (long time employee) compared the ring with me and explained the height of the band was too thick. Thank goodness I paid with PayPal and got my money back.

A pawn shop or jewelry store could probably verify that it is plated and not 18K gold.

Hi @ojkm22 did the ring come with anything else?
Just my 50 cents: this is really really hard to tell BUT: this one looks like an older version of Cartier ring. Recent ones do not have LOVE engraving on the rims but older ones did. Engraving looks good to me based on what I can see on these photos. It is not the new style but older style consistent with the age of the ring. There is good chance it is authentic but of course no one can tell 100% based on just the photos and I really had to try and make sense out of engraving from this pic!
