Hi,
I am new here and I have a question about this ring I really like.
It's a cushion cut aquamarine in a brushed sterling silver bezel setting. I hear that sterling really cannot be re-sized. I am concerned because the ring is expensive.
I have some weight to lose, so lets say in the future my finger size shrinks.
Would a good jeweler at least be able to get the stone out of the setting to put it into another ring?
Would that damage the stone, taking it out of this type of setting?
What about the white gold setting? Can that one easily be re-sized, especially in the brushed finish?
It's just the white gold is so much more expensive. I guess this ring has a lot of metal in it.
Below is a link to the ring. It's the Vahagan Ring from Gemvara.
Thanks everyone for your input!
