I don't think it's reasonable to answer without seeing images of the actual diamonds. I would ask for those images. That's a very large sum of money to spend sight unseen

I wouldnt buy any virtual inventory from WF. You dont get any of the benefits of purchasing from them (super ideal cut, upgrades, etc).

Ask WF if they can get the images for you so we can see what the stones look like.

Actually, they have ACAs in that range. These are the ones you should have a look at.

Exactly. Always go with an ACA or ES from WF if possible rather than the virtual options

That first one (the 2.074) is an awesome buy. Super clean

To answer your original question, stone 1 is the better of the two virtual inventory stones as it has more complimentary proportions.

That said, there is still risk with choosing stone 1. Just the GIA gross rounding alone gives me pause when you are sitting on the fringe with a 34/41 combo. Getting photos, videos and advanced images would help provide some warm fuzzies before pulling the trigger.

Stone 1 = 58t, 61.8d, 34c/41p & 75lgf

Stone 2 = 59t, 62d, 32.5c/41.8p & 80lgf

Thank you all very much! This is a learning process for sure. I never thought about the fact that only in-house stones carry the Whiteflash benefits. That's reason enough to keep looking. Thank you all again!

WF is a very well respected vendor in this community. Primarily their A Cut Above (ACA) line is what most associate with them. However they also have an in-house Expert Select (ES) and Premium Select (PS) that also carry the same benefits.

The primary difference is that ACA is AGS000 and true hearts & arrows (H&A) stones. Only about 3-5% of diamonds fall into this elite group of finely cut stones. They are extremely well cut and consequently highly recommended as most people on PS consider cut as the most important C.

The ES line retains AGS000 but are “near misses” to the ACA line. The PS line is unique in the fact it offers GIA 3x certification but has H&A cut quality that matches ACA along with some near misses. While these stones may be a “click” below the ACA line, they are superior to a the majority of GIA 3x stones. Most importantly they come with full advanced images, photos and videos to help provide necessary info for the buyer to make an educated decision.

In short, the ACA, ES and PS stones are guaranteed performers. Additionally all these stones are owned by WF and stored on-site in their vault. There are no virtual inventory headaches. Their superior cut, advanced imaging & analysis and generous trade policies make them a tremendous value for the lucky recipients.

If you are primarily interested in virtual stones, one advantage that WF may offer over other vendors is helping vet proportions, etc to select one of the better available stones. Once a stone is selected and brought in, WF can then provide all the imaging and analysis their in-house stones undergo. You are allowed a few days to review and either accept or reject the stone.

The vast majority of vendors will not provide this additional level of imaging and analysis. And IMO it’s one of the more critical aspects.
