Help comparing two diamonds

I've been a lurker on these message boards and it has been very helpful in my diamond search. I wanted to get opinions on the below two diamonds as I'm nearing the end of my search (hopefully). Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

Cut/sparkle/brilliance is my primary concern but obviously am considering all other factors. I've attached relevant images below as well as links. I have some reservations on each diamond but interested in hearing from those more knowledgeable.

I'm' unable to assess if the angles are outside of an ideal range and the Ideal-scope images fully. Also the protentional hazy/cloudy/milky diamonds scare me and I'm not sure if this can be determined with images.


Diamond 1: Angles are outside of the AGS Ideal Range. Any thing I should be concerned with?

2.06 Carat round diamond

This 2.06 carat round diamond F color si1 clarity has Excellent proportions and a diamond grading report from GIA

Diamond 2: The color was a bit noticeable to me at some angles when I viewed this --> Not sure if this would be a bigger/lesser issue when set. I wasn't able to see any clouds or haziness despite the comments on the GIA certificate, though it might be something I'm missing.

Thank you! My max budget is $25k and looking for an eye-clean > I color diamond around 2cts. The price of these two are relatively the same.

Also open to feedback on if I could do much better, absolutely not 'married' to either option

I've debated that one for some time and its just slightly above my max (25K I guess is stretching it). I might just have to bite the bullet. Thanks for the feedback and I'll strongly considering expanding my budget for that one. Will just have to think about it.

Sorry to further complicate this but there is one other diamond that I'm strongly considering. Would love opinions and assessments on where this stands against the others as its at its about 20% cheaper. Thanks to anyone taking the time.

I'm not really liking the ASET image of the RareCarat stone. I prefer the 2.18 from James Allen.

I also found these two options.

Thank you again for identifying additional diamonds! Disappointing that such a perfectly proportioned diamond didn't have a good ASET :/. I was hoping that was the one given the price.

I have some thinking to do but will be purchasing something on Saturday. I'm leaning towards the 2.18 and the color is the only thing that is holding me back. However it does seem that I is the most common color in this price range.

Any additional thoughts are appreciated!

The RareCarat stone isn't a dud by any means. If price is a prevailing factor, it could still be a good choice.

The F has great light return too if you're concerned about the color.

Either way I decided to limit my range to >H at the moment.

If possible, can anyone provide any feedback on the following diamond? I'm likely purchasing this later today and will review it in person. Much appreciated and I'm thankful for anyone taking the time:

Thoughts: Angles/Dimensions match what I was looking for and it is an H color. It's bigger than I had aimed for and that may be blinding me. 'Not sure how much weight I should put into 'True hearts' designation. I'm have a couple reservations but wanted to hear the groups thoughts.

Thank you so much for the help this past week. I’ve pulled the trigger on this one and will review in person. Still not married to it and am in contact with some at whiteflash for alternatives.

The interesting thing is the major inclusion, the feather, while white is on top of an arrow—> it also is bouncing all around the Diamond and is clearly visible 4 times in the main image. I agree I’ll have to see if it’s eye clean. I also hope this doesn’t have any issues with being cloudy/milky/etc

I hope the fire/sparkle/brilliance is good for a stone with close to heart/arrows and very good proportions. JA representatives ranged in their review between a few of these stones.

Once I receive the Diamond I’ll follow up here incase anyone finds this thread useful in the future. In the meantime, if others have any additional thoughts that would be great.
