We are renovating a circa 1855 townhouse and found a ring in a pile of debris in one of the walls during demo the other day. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of the approx. era based on the style? The stone is blue but I'm not sure if it's an aquamarine or glass. It looks like it has a 14k stamp, but it's very hard to tell. It doesn't seem like a super nice ring, however it is my size so I plan to continue wearing it and would love to know roughly when it's from. Thanks!
