Help! Do they go together????

I'm seriously stressing about whether or not I should change my dress!
Some people say no, some say yes. I love my dress, but now that we're having a DW in Jamaica and some people were telling Harleigh that the dress doesn't seem very island-y, I'm just feeling pretty paranoid.
I'll post some pictures of the location we're hoping to score, and the dress. Then can you help me by voting? I don't have a lot of time, and actually, my dress isn't even in yet...so I need to get the ball rolling.
I know it's not "ball gown" inappropriate for a DW, but still...I really need feedback, before I go insane!

My opinion may differ from others, however, I feel that you should get the dress that makes YOU feel special on your wedding day. You''ve elected to have a destination wedding, however, this does not mean that you must forsake the wedding dress of your dreams for this cause.

The dress will be beautiful on your wedding day and this will match your beautiful surroundings. I have seen many brides that have chosen to have dw''s in gorgeous gowns instead of trendy wedding frocks. Don''t stress it. As long as you love it and you are gorgeous in it ... the rest is gravy.

Congrats on finding such a lovely dress!

I whole heartedly agree with this. Get the dress YOU love, not the dress that has to match where you''re having the wedding. I''m having an outdoor wedding... I went into it thinking I''d pick a dress to match the surroundings and mine does work for an outdoor wedding but I basically picked what I loved. Even if it was a big ballgown, whatever makes you feel special (and comfortable walking around).

That said, the dress you picked is lovely, and I think it works great for a dw or outdoor wedding. It looks light enough to be outdoors and not in some fancy ballroom.

Those both look beautiful, and I don''t think it''s too much of a dress for a DW; I also think if a woman wants to wear a HUGE ballgown right at the foot of the waves, she can. It''s her day! And the pictures would be beautiful, too!

My cousin wore this same dress at her destination wedding in Hawaii and it looked fantastic! But aside from that, you need to just ask yourself if you feel comfortable and beautiful in it...screw what everyone else thinks! It''s your wedding!!
