Hi!

My GF requestd an asscher. I've read up on them, but am overwhelmed with all the choices. Can someone help with searching for a nice asscher?

Sites I like so far are goodoldgold, whiteflash and jamesallen. Whiteflash and Jamesallen has too many choices and asscher's seem more complicated then then usual round cut.

I'm looking for something between 1.2 - 1.5 carats. Budget is $7,500. Hopefully an asscher expert can help. Thanks!

I am not an asscher expert, but would love to find some options and hopefully an expert can chime in and pinpoint the best ones.

Hi MisterChester. Those 3 sites are good choices. The fancy shapes are hard to judge by numbers (and I am no expert BTW) so if one of those vendors have some that are catching your eye you might email them and ask their opinion. I know GOG sometimes makes videos of their diamonds so you can compare them. Asschers are beautiful stones.

You should definitely call whiteflash and ask their expert opinion- also- if you discuss your budget with a vendor they are a great resource to use to find you a stone that is well cut, and within the parameter and budget you set forth.

From what I understand, you should look fordepth percentages in the 58-69% range and table percentages in the 50-65% range. Greater depth ranges are still beautiful, but many people do not want the effec they have on the face up mm size.
