HELP! I need referrals for places to hold a rehearsal dinner at!!!

I really could use some help here...

Our son gets married on May 29th in the Laguna Beach area of Southern California and we need to decide on where to hold the rehearsal dinner. I live inland in the Riverside area and do not know of nice but not too costly of places for such an event. I am leaning towards either Mexican food or steak and seafood that also has entrees that cater to kids. Italian would also be delicious...

I know we have Southern Californian Pricescopers out there...now would be a great time to help out a fellow PSer! Please!

also, look in the local bridal magazine there are ALWAYS tons of ads of restaurants that have private dining rooms.

try posting this on one of the So Cal local boards on theknot.com and you might get more responses... sorry I can''t really help!! I think the LA board is pretty active.
