Hello again diamond aficionados!
Just thought I’d make a new thread because I haven’t been able to find something like this shared on PS. So, I picked up the ring
JPs packaging was super nice! The fit of all the components of the box was great. The bottom of the box is made of a nice velvety material. I like the included magnifier; it seems to be of decent quality being made of metal and glass.
I took the ring out to observe the sparkles and just like Chloe said, pictures and videos don’t really capture the true sparklines of a diamond. I had so much fun viewing the ring outside in direct sunlight, then under fluorescent light, LED light, indirect sunlight and mixed lighting. I was super tired after a long day so even though I had the urge to keep going, I had to take a nap. I wanted to keep playing with the ring after my nap, so I just placed the ring on this cardboard box under a piece of exercise equipment called a "Power rack “in the same room as the spare bed. I didn’t think placing it under this “rack of power” would be that consequential. I was wrong…
My recollection is still a bit hazy, but I remember it like this -
I was having the most amazing dream! Paul had just released a detailed technical analysis regarding the creation of the Octagon Nova and acknowledged the existence the face up hearts on the Decagon, all in one video! I was abruptly awakened, mid-dream, by my dog going crazy! I could hear this rustling sound like cardboard sliding on the wooden floorboards. In my sleepy stupor I managed to stumble over to where the noise was coming from. I couldn't believe it! The whole box which the ring was resting on was violently shaking! My dog's waggly tail must have impacted the curtain, letting in a small sliver of light.... The ring seemingly showed its true nature

I managed to get this picture of the ring. Sorry about the quality, my phone kept glitching out every time I got close, the photo really doesn’t do it justice.
I was still in a bit of a daze but after I rubbed my eyes and took a moment, I could see the whole room was like a Disco!

Just like Chloe said, the pictures and videos don’t really capture the magic of what was happening. There was also this slight buzzing humming sound coming from the ring while this “event” transpired. I swear I could hear faint jingling bells, but the video just doesn’t capture it. Could it be?!
I could also feel a type of energy being released from the ring, very hard to describe, an almost futile endeavour like trying to describe the colour purple to someone who is blind. The closest thing I can think of, is the warmth you can feel from “soft” sun on bare skin, or a hug from a loved one after a long hiatus. These descriptions don't truly do what I was feeling justice though. The event only stopped after I managed to get the curtains closed.
I mean the ring looks amazing and it's so sparkly. I really like the weighty feel of the platinum, it’s a nice contrast to the cheaper feeling 18k white gold rings that represent 99% of rings in my area. I also like the warm radiating energy effect. I'm just a bit worried what my GF might think. I was expecting some nice sparkle boosting effect from trapped spirits, but the shaking, humming and seemingly supernatural “light performance” is something I wasn’t prepared for. I’m imagining the same thing happening while she's enjoying a cup of tea or engrossed in a book, it might be a bit distracting... She’s not a very “showy” person so I don’t think she would appreciate the attention if this happened in a social setting either. Could I send it somewhere to be "de-energised"? Just enough de-energising to stop the shaking, humming and blinding visuals. What sort of tradesperson would I even need?

Here is a video showing 2 other decagon rings, I’m pretty sure one is Chloe’s as she shared a picture of her ring with me. I think it’s reasonable to assume the other ring is another JP staff members. At no point in the video, or in these three other decagon videos, do they mention seeing/feeling radiating energy, blinding light, shaking or humming/sound of any kind. They do mention an "enchanting effect" in the above ring video though. In Australia we have very strong laws regarding the description and labelling of products. Does everyone think the "enchanting effect" comment is enough to act as a disclaimer/valid description, or is this an issue I should refer to the ACCC?
On a side note, do you think they get to claim their rings/jewellery as a tax deduction?
Maybe I could embrace the DIY spirit and file down the heart shaped prongs myself to reduce the love spirit synergistic dynamism? I strongly suspect this effect may be the result of a self-reinforcing, self-amplifying infinite feedback loop occurring between the spirits attached to the Decagons face up hearts, and the spirits aligned with the heart shaped prongs. Would this be a mistake? If anyone has dealt with this sort of thing before I’d really appreciate your opinion/advice.
Maybe I'm just overreacting to this, I just have the urge to get everything perfect for her. Is getting used to this sort of thing just part of developing so called "DSS"?? Is there a way I can encourage my partner to develop more “DSS”?
This is the first time I’ve owned a diamond, so I’d really appreciate some experienced opinions.
