Help judge my DIY Ideal Scope image?

Hello. I’ve been curious about Ideal Scope images but being in the UK, the postage costs are more than the actual kit so I followed some instructions I saw on the forum to create a DIY version myself. I’m really just trying to learn, it’s become a slightly obsessive hobby!

Does this image tell me anything useful about my diamond? The card is washed pink and as my diamond is mounted I used a clear plastic box and cut a hole to support the ring so I could hold the loupe and my iPhone. I’m not sure if I managed to get it straight. As you can tell, I’m a total amateur!

I should say that I love my diamond, and there’s no way I’ll change it - I’d just like to understand it better. It was 2.3 on the HCA, so not a disaster but definitely not a PS quality cut. The arrows seem quite fat, is that because of the high crown? And are the paler areas on the table where there’s leakage? And finally, what are the dark shapes around the tips of the arrows? Is that my backlight too strong and the fact that it’s a mounted diamond?

Alternatively have I just done a bad job with my DIY kit and should give up? I can see that the back light is stronger in the areas where I cut the plastic box so it might have distorted the image.

Thanks for any thoughts you might have!

Great optically symmetry.
Minor leakage, nothing serious.

Try lifting the scope a bit. HCA 2.3? Is it like 36.0~36.5/40.6? If so, it is good for such steep/shallow combo

I think it looks great

Thanks very much both! @flyingpig spot on. 36.5ca/40.6pa.

I've been intrigued by everything I’ve read on here about GIA rounding, and how this could be a good combo or a terrible combo for light return depending on the actual angles. Which is why I was curious to see if I could do my own imaging.
I hadn’t realised the crown angle was so far from ideal when we bought it. I then found PS and spent 4 weeks panicking before it arrived after I checked the HCA. It sparkles beautifully to my eyes but that number is a bit of a joy thief.

Appreciate you both taking the time to respond.
