I am trying to decide between two venues. Option A is an itallian villa on the lake, with gorgeous grounds that photos don''t do justice of. It is extremely beautiful. Option B is a tuscan villa overlooking the hillcountry. The grounds aren''t as pretty but the building is beautiful and the views are wonderful.

Option A estimated cost is 7200 dollars(includes food for 50 people, venue, tables, chairs & linens, etc, etc)
Option B estimated cost is 6400 dollasrs (includes food for fifty people, venue, tables, chairs & linens, etc, etc)

I would go for B though, that first picture with the courtyard looks like it is out of a movie!
You would also be saving almost $1,000.. that is spending money for your honeymoon or even a nice piece of jewellery

I'd go for option A. I love that it's directly by the lake, and I love the entrance you'll be making as a bride walking down the aisle. Also, I think the house is more gorgeous.

That said, option B is certainly an outstanding option as well.

They both INCREDIBLE so you really can''t go wrong here. It seems to me that option A is a bit more formal - at least just from the pictures. Or maybe B seems more informal due to the neutral colors in that reception pic - either way, I think that B would be what I would choose, but my FI and I are pretty fun-loving, informal people - so it would really depend on your personality. But seriously, both are amazing, and you can''t go wrong!

They''re both incredible, but wow, option B is AMAZING!!!!! I LOVE the outdoor patio! It''s got this old world charm to it.

wow...2 beautiful choices. i think both are great. i think i ever so slightly prefer b. i''m a sucker for beautiful views. though having a lake, like you do in a, is a great picture backdrop. i''m no help. just go with your gut! you can''t make a bad decision here!

Which one has the BEST tasting food?

I''m a foodie at heart so I''d go for the one that will surely satisfy my palette. A good friend told me that guests can and will complain about a not-so-good venue but they will ALWAYS remember if the food they ate was perfect!

They look equally beautiful, so I''d go for the cheaper venue so I could splurge in another area. Amazing venues though, wow!

I'm with cleokizzy. Which has better food?

That is only half in jest. Both are gorgeous and if you are having a tough time deciding, I'd take the time to review their policies for your outside vendors and taste test what the chef's can come up with for meals and cake. Taking the time to review policies can show some hidden expenses that may not be reflected in the original quote.

My thoughts exactly. B!!

i''m choosing A because i''m a water type of person and like the lake

i''m so jealous because i''d love to get married at either venue

The good thing is that you can''t go wrong here, because they''re both amazing. I personally would pick B because the courtyard is breathtaking.

Wow, you do have a tough decision!! I like the outdoor pics of option A, but, I agree, not as much of a fan of the inside (first pic) of A. That said, overall, I like B better. I think the view is amazing...the building...seems to have a lot of presence! And, it is less expensive!

So, yeah, maybe go by the food...I would as a foodie, too. If the food is similar, go with B. If one stands out over the other, go with the better food!!

Pick one, and have a first year anniversary party at the other. Wear your dress and everything.

Better yet, pick one, and I''ll get married at the other. You can plan it for me the way you would have done it.

I love Option A

Inside & outside look amazing!!

I like option A too!!!

Ahhh... It''s so difficult to decide! My mom is really pushing for option B, because it''s cheaper. We went over the costs today, down to every tiny detail, and there is 1000 dollars separating the two.

There is a chance that for option A, the more expensive venue, we could get half off of our linens and table/chair rentals during the yearly rental sale. BUT we cannot count on that. If we could get the sale, the prices would be only a couple hundred dollars apart.

With option A we would spend less money on flowers because the natural beauty of the ceremony sight means that little flowers are needed.

I love both venues, but something about option A speaks to me more. I saw it and thought, "I want to get married here!"

I am not paying for the wedding (and don''t have the means to) though, so I feel like I have to go with what my parents are willing to pay for.

...I have only been engaged 3 weeks and I am already stressed out!

OPTION A!!!!!!! OPTION A!!!!!!! OPTION A!!!!!!!

I love everything about it! Option B is beautiful too. Guess it would all depend on the money issue. If money is no problem for the venue then go with A for sure!

I think this speaks volumes. I''d explain this to your mother and I''m guessing she''ll understand. Tell her you''ll make sacrifices in other areas to cover the added cost.
