Does anyone know where I can find a diamond with Very Strong Blue fluorescence? The websites I've searched only go up to Strong, not Very Strong.
I want a (more or less) 5mm diameter round diamond with VSB fluorescence that makes it go lavender in sunlight. I want the fluorescence to be visible to the naked eye in strong sunlight.
I'd like it to be beautifully cut--it could be a modern round brilliant, an OEC, or a transition, I don't care which, as long as it's lovely and fiery.
It needs to be a high color so the lavender will show--D, E, or maybe F. As far as clarity goes, I don't mind going down as far as I1, as long as the inclusions don't interfere with the sparkle. It doesn't need to be eye clean. I like transparent crystals as inclusions, but am not crazy about feathers. Above VS2 is a waste of money for me.
I'm not even sure I'd mind if it became milky or oily in sunlight, as long as it turned a pretty lavender as well and was sparkly in other lighting. I love gemstones that DO things--stones that exhibit phenomena. But I've never seen a milky or oily diamond, so maybe I wouldn't like it.
Can anyone help me find such a stone?
Many thanks, diamond friends!
