Hi guys!
So, I have a yummy favor to ask I am at a loss (I think I''m just overwhelmed!!) as to what flavors I should ask to sample when we do our cake tasting in a few weeks... We get to pick 3 samples. What are popular combos that people like at weddings?
Here are the options:
Cake layers: Choclate, Yellow, or alternating layers of both
Buttercream filling (choose one or alternate): Choc, Vanilla, rasperry, mocha, lemon, orange, strawberry, coconut, pineapple, apricot, hazelnut, almond, white chocolate, choc ganache
Optional thin layer of jam: apricot, lemon, strawberry, rapberry
Optional syrup (very light flavor, cake is soaked in - if nothing selected, a plain vanilla syrup is used): lemon, raspberry, grand mariner, kirsch (???), rum, mocha, frangelico or amaretto.
Thanks - I am SO excited to hear what everyone recommends! Right now I''m really interested in white choc and choc ganache, but I want to get suggestions
