DK thanks for telling my dude
Etsy has many lab rubies that are really affordable to choose from.
Oh thank you! I'll message them asking if they can keep an eye out thank youDesertRose on IG is going to Tucson. You could ask her if she's seen them in the past and if she can keep an eye out for it
This pic is so bad it’s not even helpful TBH
For a 6k stone can she go and get another photo? How on earth can you make a purchase without one hah
Im sure she would supply more in DMs. But yes she could have taken another moment for a pic in focus lol

But hey, today is the LAST DAY, DON’T MISS OUT lol
Ugh the fomo marketing really bothers me! Theres also an IG account where the seller claims to want to keep pretty much everything they sell, but out of the goodness of their heart/the fact that they own something similar, they 'heart-achingly' have to sell their goods.

I am following this thread, as I also have been searching high and low for a heart. I won't be able to afford a ruby, but have been wanting to get a red spinel heart or rubellite. I thought of Chatham lab ruby, but they are not cheap for the size i want (like a round 8mm to 9mm). I reached out to Mr. Spinel on instagram, but he never responded.

Mr Spinel is laughably expensive as far as spinels go, IMO...
So what happened with Mr. Spinel was I saw a stone that i liked and reached out to him, he quoted me something like $200/carat, it was about 1.5 carat, so I was like that's not bad at all. I can definitely afford something bigger and I found one on his website that was about 2.2 carat, then he said it was $500/carat, so I asked him what made it more by carat and if he can put the two together to show me a picture, he never responded. I politely reminded him two other times if he can just send me more photos. He obviously read my message, but he chose not to respond. Since then I never reached out to him again.
He got some very beautiful spinels, the blues and the reds are so spectacular, but I hate it not only when they don't show the price and they only have like one video or photo to show. On their website, it says "contact us if you are interested in this product", that sounds very shady and seems like they can just change their price depending who asks... I don't like that.
I hope someone has better luck with him as his stuff looks beautiful at least from his pictures.
Ask Annie at Haydenfred. She is reasonable and may have access. She is much more approachable and her stones are usually in the less expensive side.I am following this thread, as I also have been searching high and low for a heart.
