Finally found my diamond now I would love help picking a wedding band. There’s not many jewelry stores around me to try on. I have always wanted an oval eternity but is .15 to big? And .10 each feels to small
I would like to wear on my right finger to.

A thin pave feels traditional? Ah idk

Also platinum or 18k for the band?

Thank you

My favorite is the thin / plain band - to me, it looks very elegant, whereas the others look a bit busy. That said, I tend to favor more simple designs.

I like the thin diamond or the plain band.

I love the thin diamond band.

So this thin one?

Is it weird to just not do a wedding band and just do maybe a small 5 stone emerald bezel pinky ring?

I prefer a thin diamond band. The oval cut band is too distracting. I would also buy a thin metal band like the one you showed
above so I could do some stacking.

I also prefer the thinner band to make your big diamond pop!

You should use the same metal as your engagement setting.

HI:

Thin.

cheers--Sharon

I’m in agreement with the others that said the thin diamond or plain band. I actually both a plain and diamond bands. They are 2 or 3mm. I wear them altogether as a stack and separately with my ering.

My wife went with .16ct diamonds in her wedding band (7 stone format). That worked very well with a 7.48mm sized solitaire ER when both were on her finger (Finger size 6.5). Any larger and the wedding band overwhelmed that diamond in our opinion when both were used.

We are in process of upgrading her ER (lost the last one, sigh. Be insured!!!) to a 8.3-8.6mm (2.1-2.5ct) so for that we would likely go to 0.2ct or so on the wedding band stones.

That was that we liked anyhow if that helps.

What is the width of your diamond band?

Does it give you the look you were wanting? I do like it paired with the plain band too.

I do! I tried a thinner pave band but I feel like It didn't look as good by itself I like this size by itself or with a plain wedding band.

Of course i would love a thicker band but then it felt like it made my oval smaller?

You should build a collection of beautiful bands over time.
You already have a lovely start.
The wonderful thing about having a classic solitaire is being able to switch it up as the mood suits. Possibilities are endless.
There are a lot of band addicts around here!

I do love that idea! I’ve been wanting an antique cushion cut eternity ring, but I cannot find it! I should stay long antique cushion cut
