hi,

I posted yesterday regarding help with a stone... (thank you everyone who commented =)2)
I received the ASET image, could you please help me interpret it/is this a good stone with regards to light performance?

Thank you everyone. Oh in case it is not obvious and I didn't mention I'm a newbie

I csnt tell if the image was taken badly by the vendor or If there are actual issues w the stone. @flyingpig ?

I would call this a good enough stone.
It is better than 90% but a long way short of Hearts and Arrows symmetry.
Of course it may also have clouds and be dull as dishwater, but we only have one ASEt image to go on.

I agree with Garry.
It is good enough with some leakage.

I also agree with Garry.
I do not do "clouds, pinpoints not shown" in a SI or even VS.

Disagree with prior posts.
No two-eyed person will interpret that area as “leaky” in-person. The vast majority will also not see any real-world impact on light return in comparison to the behaviour the remainder of this stone exhibits.
I think it’s much better than “good enough” presuming that it’s priced less than a true H&A and in-line with virtual inventory.
OP posted the report on another thread. Biggest concern with this one is VSB and eye clean (under-table crystals are white).
H&A - and the associated pricetag - isn’t for everyone. There are beautiful, bright, fiery RBs that don’t have perfect optical symmetry. I am confident this is one of them, pending evaluation of fluor.

thank you so much Yssie for your input.
H&A- with regards to price tag/budget you are correct; my current ER is an AGS 000 H&A, for more than double the size my budget does not allow for the same specs/stats. You pretty much summed up what my priorities are this time (beautiful, bright, fiery, eye clean, size, cut) fitting within my budget.

thank you again I really do appreciate your time (along with everyone else who has helped me)
