Hi,
After long research and many good advise from some senior member here I cam down to three possible diamonds.

These three diamonds have very similar characteristics and exact same price. It's so difficult to choose that now I now need your help to select one.

Following a pictorial and certificate comparison. In addition on the bottom i added HCA scoring.

Thank you for helping.

So which one would you select? They are all the same price.

I still would go with the F-SI2. I believe it is a high SI2 and that is what you want in an SI2.

Thank you for your help.

Anyone else whats to help me out choosing a diamond?

I would disregard the strong blue.

Why? According to GIA themselves, less than 0.2% of all diamonds that fluoresce will exhibit any milkiness / oiliness / haziness. I have a SB D color and I love it. Many around here do, if you haven't noticed. And to OP: the SBF will help the stone face up whiter under UV light (i.e. sunlight).

I rather like the H w/ SBF - it scores well on the HCA, which is a good sign, and it looks beautiful in the video. I'd verify it is eye-clean, as I can see inclusions in the 6:00 position in the video. But I would definitely get an idealscope image for this one. JMHO.

Thank you for expressing your opinion. I really like this stone as well.
I have asked the gemologist to look at the stone and tell me which of the three is brighter, whiter, and preform the best. However I have not asked for idealscope image or other kind of tests.
What should I ask for specifically? What kind of additional info should I require?

Thanks

You should ask for idealscopes if they are going to have them in hand anyway. That's the best way to determine light performance, which is ultimately the goal!

IMO...forget #1 it is a flat top stone... :knockout:

I prefer the strong blue as long as the gemologist says there is no haziness. It's a very nice stone. Get the idealscope image. :wavey:

Thanks all for the comments. I will post the idealscope images shortly.

Thank you Ella. I want to specify that I started this post to gather more information on how to select a diamond. I have to say that the members that have replied to my post have given me very useful suggestions that I am currently using in selecting diamonds.

I want to reassure you that I will not be influenced by someone preferences.

To clarify, most posts in this thread are just fine and within our policies, the ones that are not have been removed.

But regardless of what you ask for, our policies state that trade members may not weigh in on items for purchase. Most trade members are truly looking out for consumers, but we have had problems in the past and wish to avoid issues in the future. :))

I finally got the ideal scope images. What is your opinions?
