Hi everyone, back again still on the hunt. I’m trying to find a 2.3-2.5 ct round brilliant on loosegrowndiamonds. I’ve upped my budget, hoping to stay around the $800 mark but have a tiny bit of flexibility. VS1 eye clean is fine, E or F color and super ideal cut (I really would like hearts and arrows). Mainly I want it to really be fiery/sparkly! So cut is important. I’ve looked at so many diamonds that I’m overwhelming myself. Could any of the pros take a peek at loosegrowndiamonds and see if any catch your eye? Thank you, thank you!

Wishing you good luck on your diamond search.
I found them to be the best price.
I ordered one and will be arriving soon.
Note they have a shorter return policy than others, 7-days.

Hello, kel12345!
Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to find a higher quality diamond with your parameters for the budget right now.
You can come close around 2 carats, but I don't think even 2.2+ is possible right now for finding pristine options.

Hi @DejaWiz i can go up a bit I have some flexibility. I see quite a few options for 900-1000 just not sure if they are good. Or I’ll sacrifice a bit somewhere else with the parameters. I just need some guidance with options I’ve looked at so many I’m confusing myself.

where are you most open to being flexible? Budget? Size? Clarity? Color?

As long as it’s eye clean I’m okay with VS2! I see a lot of options on loosegrowndiamonds under $1000 some of those being hearts and arrows cut so I think I’m just confused on why these wouldn’t be good contenders. I can also go up a bit on budget, I was trying to stay around $800 but could go to $1000, with all of that being said, this will be a pendant on a chain. I want a great firey diamond but I’ve heard wearing it as a necklace is not the same as a ring. Basically I’m open to some options and adjusting my parameters, I just need some help narrowing down the many diamonds I’m seeing on that website. Thank you for your help!!

A pendant is not up close to people’s eyes, so VS2 is more than enough. I have a ring which is SI1 and eye clean.

Diamond crystal quality (CVD graining and blue/grey HPHT) is my primary concern with lower price point diamonds, even if they are cut and polished to true super ideal cut precision, the bad/questionable material quality that the diamond is made from doesn't change.

I understand. Would you be able to send me some options from loosegrowndiamonds, even if it’s a bit above my budget or not exactly within my parameters? I would be grateful.

kel12345 please let me know when you're on the forum...I found a CVD diamond that looks to have decent crystal quality, especially for the carat weight and price point.
Want you to have first crack at buying it before a lurker snipes it.

Stand by ...have a few options for you to look at.

Thank you @DejaWiz I truly appreciate it! Would you mind deleting links while I look these over? I saved them. I just don’t want them to get scooped up before I have a chance to review.

Done, and you may want to edit your post and delete the links from your quoted text.
