I always love Emerald cut and Round cut.
So i decided to go with Emerald cut band, Round Engagement Ring.
(originally we were talking about getting a band for anniversary gift, but later he decided to propose)
I love the band design and want it be my wedding band instead.
So i have the band design but not the E-ring design yet.
I am worry about are those to going to look nice together or not.
We decided to go with 3ct.
My ring size is 5, and i kinda want it to set in halo, but my man said solitaire will be nice.
Any thoughts on E-ring design? I do love halo a lot.
Thanks a lot!:kiss2:

I Think the band you chose will be better complimented by the solitaire... the halo is also pretty

I worry that with such a large solitaire, you won't be able to see much of the wedding band. You may want to add some spacer bands between them.

I also think the halo style won't go well with that wedding band. A plain solitaire with a round diamond will work better with that band,

Solitaire with the baguette band...classic!! Love!

I think the halo and the emerald band are quite different. If you feel the solitaire is not blingy enough - how about some baguette side stones. Then it will keep in with the them around step cut bands and would go so well with your emerald cut wedding ring.

Victor's Emilya is gorgeous! Most people have him make a matching band. You'd have to check with him if you have already bought a stone because sometimes they require the diamond to be purchased from them.

this look nice, will consider:kiss2:

How about this- it sounds like you really like the Emilya. So get it! I agree the emerald cut wedding band won’t work as well...so maybe go for a matching band, or even a plain band.

...and get and emerald cut eternity for your right hand ring!

Oh - or you could maybe do something like this...and combine elements...

I am actually patiently waiting on delivery of a ring that I have had made in this exact style! I've not seen many pictures of this style!

It was weirdly hard to find!!! It’s unique for sure!

I really wanted an oval halo but didnt want a pave shank. I have a cushion double halo with split shank and while I like it I find all the tiny pave diamonds make it look very busy! (I also have matching double bands so there is a lot going on ha ha)

When it came to doing this ring I didn't want a plain shank but did want some extra bling so baguettes sides seemed to tick the boxes! I could only ever find one other picture of this type of ring!

I love the example of the band, but if you want to wear it with your e-ring maybe no halo would be better given the size of the stone. Or you can wear the band when your not wearing your engagement ring.

true! maybe ill just go for it!!!

I just collected the ring! It’s nighttime here so these are just some quick pictures I snapped in my house with really bad lighting! The baguettes are daintier than I anticipated but I like that they don’t compete with the halo! 6DE7CB56-332C-4BD4-B069-A192AD87F810.png

If you want to send me your emerald band I’ll try it on for you! Ha ha

My center is a 1.2 so a lot smaller than what you are looking at but gives you an idea. Im thinking of a 3mm shared prong band with mine but haven’t fully decided yet. Here is a pic in daylight with my current band which is about 2mm pave I think. (It is very hard to get a good picture of it!)
