Help! Where Can I Buy a Cathedral Length Ivory Veil!!!

Hello!

I need your help in finding a sheer cathedral length veil (in Ivory) for my wedding and have no clue where to start since I asked a friend of mine (who works for Vera Wang) to help me make me one.

Well, now I am thinking I should have a back-up plan just in case something happens and I don''t like the veil she made or something goes wrong with the design, etc. I guess I''m being paranoid, but I''ve learned to not take any chances with anything during this whole process!

Anyway, I''m basically looking for something similar to what Jcrow wore on her wedding day.

Besides ebay, where else have you bought your veils? Any suggestions? BTW, I live in New York City.

if it's just a backup plan, i'd scope out the bridal salons and see if they have any. see how much time is needed to order one.
i'd plan to have the friend's veil made in time for you to be able to order one from the bridal salon if the handmade one doesn't work out.

sorry i don't have any other suggestions, i ordered mine at the bridal salon where i bought my dress.
oh, and i don't know if every place does this, but i ordered a custom veil from the salon. NOT a name brand, thus saving money. they made to order veils & much cheaper.

Thanks Jcrow - I actually realized that I am going dress shopping this weekend with my friend who''s getting married next year so, I''m going to ask about veils while she''s trying on dresses. Hopefully, I''ll be able to find something!

You can also find websites on the internet. I''ve been to a few. You can also find exactly what you''re looking for on EBay most of the time. Good luck!
