Hi guys!! My husband just upgraded my 1.4 carat studs for our anniversary. My new earrings are 2.23 carat. He got them from Blue Nile. They are H, Si. Most likely that’s my forever studs so I want to make sure they are as good as we can get for our budget. I will attach info for them and if you can help me and tell me what you think about them? We have about 20 days to change them if we want to.. My main concern is color and I’m not sure if proportions are good? He paid about 7k for the pair. I wish I could attach link to the diamonds but I guess it’s not an option with bluenile anymore. They are 1.11 and 1.12 faint fluorescence and triple ex. What your thoughts?

The first stone is okay but has some paddling (obstruction near the arrow tips). The second stone looks a bit leaky.

And one question I have. You guys are more knowledgeable than me. One of the stones even on this picture here looks not crisp, like cloudy. Inclusions don’t look so bad? What makes stone cloudy then? Any recommendations for Diamond stud earrings? What should I put in search to find the best ones? If you’ve seen some good diamonds in my price range and carat weight I will appreciate links!

They look like they need a good scrubbing. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a better pair that's H color around $7K.

Yeah that’s what I thought about scrubbing. But the picture actually of the moment when I just opened them. So they couldn’t be any cleaner. What’s usually a good carat weight for my budget if I want to get better diamonds? At lease crisp and not hazy looking

Would you be willing to consider I color? On the ears, the color won't be readily apparent.

I think I can go as low as H because I’m color sensitive, but I can go slightly higher in budget ..

I would ask about potential transparency issues in either of these, but here's what I found. James Allen and Blue Nile are the same company.
