Hi All,

Long time lurker here ;)2.
I need help with a setting that I THINK I like, and the closest thing I have seen has been via pinterest that direct to me websites I have not seen mentioned much here (or at all).
I really like the Tiffany style ring but want a bit more "zazz" while still keeping it simple. Im still not sure if this is a good idea, but I'd like a ring that will withstand all the fads of e-rings. With that said, I like rings that have pave prongs, OR are still 6 prong but have a "hidden halo" or some type of accent around the head (not sure if thats the correct terminology) with a thin simple band.

The pave prongs I am referring to:
https://www.alexandersparks.com/eng...micro-pave-diamonds.html?color=5&metal_type=6

"hidden halo":
https://www.alexandersparks.com/rou...diamond-hidden-halo.html?color=5&metal_type=6
What I don't like about the ring above is that 1) the band is thick and I don't even know how the diamonds are considered "micro pave" 2) the "hidden halo" is too far up- in other words its in the middle instead of at the base head

Alternative to the "hidden halo":
https://diamondiiz.com/products/moissanite-diamond-wedding-engagement-ring?variant=43287286856
So I like the location of this hidden halo, but obviously this is a princess cut. Ideally, I'd like to keep the location of the hidden halo but in Tiffany style. Is this called an eternity wrap??

Additional things I should mention, I want a diamond and not a moissanite like depicted in the pictures above.

So I guess my question really is: Are you aware of a setting that has pave prongs and/or a setting that is similar to the third one but is in Tiffany style. OR one that is tiffany style but has pave prongs and thin pave band (reasoning below).

On a different note, how did you know what setting you wanted? I'm sentimental and would like to keep my engagement ring for ever (hopefully I will get a diamond upgrade at some point though lol). I think the ring I absolutely love though is actually quite similar to the one below. But I think it may be too much. Although, I would love to know if you know of a different vendor that offers a setting similar.

Thank you for helping out a confused newbie !!

I had it made through the bespoke program years ago although I'm sure any decent jewler could do the same with a existing tiffany ring for much less then the bespoke program about 2 or 3 grand. If a jewler can just produce a head setting 500-1000. Although sometimes they have to make a entirely new ring remove the head and mount it on the tiffany about 1500 to 3000.
