I am thinking of purchasing these two stones for 20th anniv. earrings. The price for each is $7500 US. I know they are not super idea cut, but my question is will they perform well based on the info below and #2 in your opinion are they worth the price or can I get better stones for the money.

Thanks!

Thanks Garry, Its an Honor to have your opinion! I worried about light leakage from the lighter parts within the middle area of the #2 specifically and also the depth is 62.9 so I wondered if this would perform well.

I would not worry, that palness will still return lots of sparkle

Thanks so much Garry!

Garry, Can I ask if there is a noticible difference in 4 prong earrings measuring 6.62 x 6.58 and earring measuring 6.82 x 6.79? Basically can someone tell the later at a meer .2mm smaller is actually smaller or is .2mm size difference negligible?

It is a pretty minimal difference to be noticeable on the ears, although around what people say is the just noticeable difference face up F602CFBC-481A-47EC-9F00-CCCBC6FBFCFB.jpeg(ignoring the 3 dimensionality).

agreed. side by side in a ring it would be noticable on close inspection. But not in earrings :-)

So you are asking if a 6.8mm pair appears larger than a 6.6mm pair? Sure, they are slightly larger. I definitely wouldn't mix those two sizes in one pair.

I think you could find a better stone for the second one. The first one is quite nice.

the difference is 0.02mm not 0.2mm DS!

That's not what he asked, though! It's not the two stones above.

"Garry, Can I ask if there is a noticible difference in 4 prong earrings measuring 6.62 x 6.58 and earring measuring 6.82 x 6.79?"

OK, yes you are right DS!
