Hi all,

Hoping I can get some of your fabulous input on the attached CAD I'm working on with DK for a diamond pendant. The diamond is is a .5 ct MRB. It was given to me by my mother and it is something I'd like to pass down to my daughter. It is currently in a simple white gold bezel, so I wanted something lovely and beautiful to put it in. I asked for something floral and delicate and also sent along the attached image as my inspiration (I think it was posted on this board previously as inspiration for something else but cannot remember who or when).

Since I do not have any experience with this, my lingering thoughts are:

1-milgraining or no?
2-more petals? less? we started out with 4 but I asked DK to add another. Should it be 6?
3-Does anyone have any comment on the thickness of the design? Will it be chunky?
4-I'm having trouble envisioning the top. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help!

My $.02 worth;

Ask him to center the bails on the gaps in the petals. Keep it at 5 petals.

Consider using the petal tip as prongs.

Milgraining not needed here, IMHO.
