Help with choosing a Diamond

Bump! I'm thinking of making the purchase soon but need some pricescopers opinions :twirl:

Thanks :)

Looks good to me.

v pretty :appl:

Looks good to me, too. How are you planning to set it?

I think the classic Tiffany is perfect -- no customization needed. The Tiffany setting gives her lots of choices for wedding bands, too. If you look at the Show me the Bling Forum, you'll see a thread that has photos of solitaire engagement rings paired with eternity bands, which is a very pretty and classic look. Please come back and post photos when you get the ring!

Thanks for the encouragement! I sure will! However, does anyone know if the WhiteFlash ACA Toolkit is useful? I could save a $75.

That is more useful as a demonstration tool for a loose stone. Once mounted, the tweezers is useless, H&A viewer is only useful to see the arrows as you cannot placed the stone pavilion up in the H&A viewer to see the hearts image.

Can the arrows be seen from the naked eye by having the right angles?

Yes, you can see the arrows face up even when the stone is mounted in the setting. The arrows will not appear black like in the photos on the WF website. In real life they look silvery and sometimes you'll see a flash of color (blue, yellow) in an arrow shape. If you hold the ring face up in front of you with a light source behind you, you can see the arrows easily. You may need to move the ring around to get the right angle, but you will see them.

Very nice diamond and I love the classic setting. It will be lovely. I have a .53 ct AGSO and I can see my arrows at certain angles and lighting. I can't wait to see the finished ring.
