Help with emerald

Hi all, I'm (very) newbie and looking at my 1st emerald purchase. Price is similar, one is 0.9 ctw, the other 0.6 ctw. Both minor oil and vintage jewelry. Which one looks better? Thank you in advance.

I think you should keep looking.

They are both very broken looking. I can't in good conscience advise you to buy either of these.

If you absolutely must, the first looks less smashed. Please don't buy the second one as it looks like it's absolutely destroyed.

Thank you so much! It's so hard to find emeralds in good shape in old jewelry, especially at low prices. I'll keep looking.

I've never bought from this vendor or dealt with them but it is my understanding that they do a lot of vintage designs.

If you do an emerald search in their shop, it could come up with some ideas etc
