I''m still a bit undecisive about programs. We''re having a medium-ish wedding, with no bridal party (only BM & MOH), and the ceremomy will be 20 minutes tops. I''m not sure if it''s necessary to have a program. If we do, then I want it to be creative and functional.

Since our wedding will be outside in the late afternoon (in September), I thought about having these fans available for guests to pick up before they take their seats. Then I thought about incorporating the program into them, by cutting out a piece of cardstock that would fit the surface of the fan (spade shape?), and attaching it somehow (glue gun, rubber cement, etc...) I tried locating the shape in powerpoint, and came up with nothing. I could do a circle, but would like to use as much of the fan''s surface as possible (they''re about 11" at the widest point at the bottom). I could do a heart, but once again, that shape isn''t available in powerpoint either.

So, I''m wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to do this. Are there any templates/shapes that I can locate somewhere (maybe on the internet) and insert into either a word or powerpoint document to format the program?

Or is this a silly idea?? Suggestions, please!

Hi!

You should be able to get a heart from within powerpoint by using the ''autoshapes'' option. There is a heart under auto-shapes --> Basic Shapes. The toolbar defaults in for me at the bottom of the screen, but if yours doesn''t, you can go to View --> Toolbars --> Drawing and the toolbar should appear.

Couldn''t find any spades!

Heart should be an auto shapes on word and powerpoint. I have a spade for you. I''ll email it; see what you can do with it.
