Hi,
I really need some help! DK is going to make a simple 3 stone ring for me . I am the lucky new owner of Inked’s “ OEC…sorta” lab diamond. I have smaller fingers (4.75) and am not sure how big I can go with the side stones. I originally thought sz. 5 mm sides , but can I go larger? I want this ring to look like a 3 stone and not a solitaire with accent stones. Attaching the CAD that David sent me, using 5 mm side OEC stones. He will be doing a new CAD tomorrow with larger OECs.
Would appreciate knowing what y’all think about about the 5 mm size side stones..too small, just right?

For a true 3 stone look, I think you can go larger on the sides. I’m not skilled at CADs, so I’ll let other chime in with more!

This looks like it might be based on the ring bee just got so you could look at her ring to see what that looks like. Not sure how your stones compare to hers, but she has a thread in SMTB.

Thanks.I will look there. I also like Zestfullyblings lovely 3 stone. Hers is a 1:3. Proportion and looks like a 3 stone. Mine would be a 1:2 , I think.

Congratulations!

I also agree with MamaBear, I think you could easily go up a little on the side stones. It’s going to be gorgeous!

I’m hoping that seeing the CAD with slightly larger sides will help me decide. 5.5mm isn’t that much larger but might be just enough

A carat weight ratio of 2:1, center to sides, is considered very classic as it’s what Tiffany uses on all their three stones.

Thanks for the info. It will either be the 5mm or 5.5mm, definitely no larger!
