Help with sapphire choice please!

Hello,
Love this site!! (Although my husband says I spend too long on it LOL). Anyway, I am upgrading my e ring. I purchased a sapphire online but was really unhappy with the colour when I got it - it looked very different to the photo (very pale) - and now I am scared to purchase again. I have been refunded so am looking again. Can anyone suggest any good stones. I would like approx....

2 - 3 ct cushion or emerald cut corn flower blue. Setting will be with diamonds.

I am waiting for a stone to move me - this is much harder than I thought!

I buy nearly all my stones by contacting a vendor and having them source it for me.

I wouldn't try and find something myself for a special piece.

Vendors I work with include Wink - www.winkjones.com and Richard M. at www.artcutgems.com.

Contact them direct, let them know what you're looking for and see what they can come up with. I'm in the UK, so having stones sent on spec. is not an option for me. I've never returned one - and never wanted to. I trust both their eyes as much as I trust my own.

ETA: If you let us know your budget we can all have a look for you as well! Natural Sapphire Company is also a good place to look - do you want unheated or is heated okay (unheated will carry a premium, but you won't see anything different with the stone unless you are getting a microscope out.
