Help with Sidestone. What shape is this?

Hello! I am redesigning my engagement ring for our 20th anniversary. My center stone is a 2.29 ct emerald cut. I’m looking for large half moons for the side stones. These are available from my jeweler and were taken from another ring so I can get a pretty good deal on them. I just have no idea what this shape is and the facets look really interesting ‍ They aren’t quite halfmoons? What are your thoughts?

Edited to say… my center stone is 1.29 NOT 2.29. I wish haha

Those look like half moons to me, with a brilliant cut. I'd try to find step cut half moons to go with an emerald cut though.
