Help with swapping an Amora Gem for a LGD in existing setting

Hi everyone!

I am looking to swap out my Amora Gem center stone with a lab grown diamond. Given that the setting has already been made, I feel like the constraints around the size of the existing stone (mm) determine the LGD that I ultimately select.

I found some reasonably priced LGDs on loose grown diamonds, but then I’m also looking at Whiteflash (not the ones they have in-house). Looking for eye clean of course, warm up to G, excellent cut - but is there any recommendation as to what would be the best replacement? Is there anything I’m not thinking of?

It is slightly larger than the existing stone. Do you think that will be an issue in replacing it?

The dimensions are almost identical, so there shouldn't be any issue replacing your current stone.

WOW @joe2 - these are absolutely gorgeous!!!

I think they are a hair too big though my prongs have pave on them and around the basket, so it needs to be almost a perfect match. I think the max width I could go is 8.05mm

This one is a tad larger, but I love the small table and chunkier arrows. I bet the jeweler could get it to fit.
