B9F41396-C3CB-4252-B901-A31D5380F604.jpeg so I’ve been on a quest for a round tanzanite. I can buy this one preloved. I hate the cheap setting but I have another one to reset it in. But I’d like to know if this is a good stone. It changes color under all lighting conditions. So
I went to my local Sam’s club to compare it to their tanzanites. They don’t have rounds. So here it is. I don’t get why in comparison mine performed so poorly. I had just washed my hands? But when I moved it to different area in the same store, it did better. Preloved is bottom. Sam’s club is top. I don’t want a violet color. I want a blue one. Sometimes it looks more blue and sometimes more violet.

I can't give you any great advice but I do think it's beautiful and has a very pretty color. :kiss2:

I have a tanzanite ring myself and it’s really blue. I don’t see violet that much. It’s a great day and natural light stone. In artificial lighting it can look ok too depending on the source but mostly it’s darker and not as fabulous as it looks with natural light. The contrast is quite huge. It’s also like that with blue sapphires so I’ve just learnt to accept it. You have to see how much you love it in natural light I feel to make the decision
