both rings are 18k
Someone insist they are worth 225 for both rings. I know reselling jewelry will never be its original market value but feel like im being low balled. What are your thoughts on estimate value ball park?

225 for both would be someone smoking crack in my opinion

Not if they are diamonds.
If you’re at a Gold buyer or Pawnbroker they will only give you scrap gold weight and nothing for small diamonds. A gold buyer just melts the ring down and off loads the small size diamonds for a few extra bucks (there’s not much money in wee diamonds at all). The Pawnbroker might offer you slightly more than scrap but their intention will be to sell at a 100% plus profit. That’s their business model.
You’d be better off using eBay and paying the sellers fee (about 14%). The top ring I think would be fair at around $350 and the second ring fair at around $600.
If the gems aren’t diamonds, it’s harder to sell at a decent price anywhere.

Your best bet is to take them to someone who will make sure the stones are diamonds. If they are, the price you were offered is silly. But as @Bron357 said, a pawnbroker or gold buyer is not where you want to try to sell them.

About the square one on the right ...
I can't tell from the picture ...

Clearly there's a halo of small stones, but is the central part one stone or 4 set tightly together to look like one large one, or is it even more than 4 intended to look like one stone?

Small stones set to look like a single larger one will be much less valuable than a single larger stone.

Are they lab grown or natural?

it looks like 6 small stones to me, but it's not clear. Op will have to say.

I dont think the holed ring is worth more than the circular ring. I agree with others that it is an illusion setting using multiple small
stones to look like a larger stone. It's not as attractive (to me) of a ring as the yellow gold ring. The white gold ring may have more
metal (gold) in it though. Maybe $300 each? I'm just throwing a figure out there. I can see a pawnshop lowballing at $225 for both.
