Hey PS, a little over a year ago a buddy of mine bought a gorgeous E ring from White Flash, unfortunately he still has it. I'll leave it up to your imagination as to why he still has it.

Anyway, it's an expert select stone from WF with AGS certification. AGS triple 000, A little over 1 ct., H/VS1, in a Tiffany style setting, size 5. As much as he would have liked for it to work out, it didn't and he doesn't want to hold on to the memory forever. ***GUARANTEED unworn***: this absolutely means no dings, dents, scratches, nicks, gouges, chips... To either stone or setting. I repeat: UNWORN. Just a broken heart.

I will get pictures of all the certs, receipts, stone, setting for those who are interested. He is asking $8750 OBRO, please no low balling- this was a $10k + set up, and the price is negotiable but NO LOW BALLING please - let's not waste each other's time. Face to face in San Diego preferred, wire or PayPal + 3% fees ok.

Email me **edited by moderator, please read our preloved policies**

Will provide my eBay ID as reference, transactions on firearms sites, transactions on watchuseek.com, and transactions at therolexforum.com. Additionally you may contact Chris at Brilliantly Engaged for the few transactions I have done with Mark and his company and the multiple people I have referred to BE.

I think the price it yields - and what a "low-ball" would be - is going to be entirely dependent on what "just over 1ct" means, and the details of the setting...

Hi Yssie, how have you been? [emoji16]

I think it's 1.08, but I can't remember exactly. I am meeting with him later, I'm just the middle man, working without pay or commission for him! Lol. The setting is their white gold Tiffany replica, the most popular most copied solitaire with the 6 prongs. [emoji6]

Btw, how is anyone able to contact me if PS doesn't have a messaging system and my email is removed? This makes little sense to me - btw, this is asked with respect here.

Since there is not a PM function here, and its prohibited to post your email address, you need to create a listing on ebay, Loupetroop or Diamond Bistro and provide the link in your thread. If you look at the threads of other sellers, you'll see that there are links to outside listings in each one. Hope that helps. :))

It is free to post on loupetroop, so I'd definitely recommend there so interested buyers can get in touch with you. I'd also highly recommend you get the link of the diamond your friend purchased on WhiteFlash - that will have lots of info a potential buyer would want to know.

Are you offering a return policy?

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll help him set it up for sure!

Due to the nature of the sale, and him not being a store or diamond seller, all sales will be final, I am sure anyone can understand that. :)

Got a LT account set up and I will getting together with my buddy to take pics and all other info needed. I hope this stone/ring will find the person it was meant for!!! Hopefully a PS well informed prosumer will be the one!

Just curious but since this is a WF ES and setting, are they not willing to take both the ring and stone back?

Will do! I just text him.

Mods, this person contacted me while my info was up and before it was deleted and I knew of the policy. Don't worry, I have a LT account set up for my friend.

Sorry, he's been busy since we are hosting the Pacquiao fight, but I will see him tomorrow and get pics you guys!!! Forgive us. Tomorrow is one of the most important days EVER.

Remember, anyone in San Diego can meet up with him/us face to face. :)

Now you need to set up a link on DiamondBistro and/or on Loupetroop with the pics and the specs and then put the link here so that people who might be interested can contact you and if we see anyone looking for something similar we can refer them to you.

Okay, just to help you with pricing expectations, here is a 1.02 H VS2 ACA. I'd say that you could expect a 1.04 H VS1 ES stone to be around the same price. Yssie posted a 1.02 H VS1 that is apparently now sold that was listed at $7700 wire, so it should be less than that. The white gold Tiffany replica with round shank is $850. So $8550 would be about current retail. You need to tell him that he will not get retail for this ring. If someone wants to pay retail, they want to buy from WF directly for the trade-in policies, etc. In my experience and watching other sales, you can expect to get about half price on the setting and 10-25% off of the current retail on the diamond.

You might want to start a new thread with the first post giving the info that you are helping your friend sell a ring that was never worn but past the return period, pictures, and the loupetroop, etc. links.

Thanks DS I'll let him know. He was pricing it based of what HE paid retail a couple of years ago, which was a hair under $10k.

:)

Whiteflash offer a lifetime buyback policy of 60% on diamonds (or at least they do now). This may end up netting him more than selling it privately if he paid more for it than it currently retails for. I don't think this applies to the setting, though. Not sure if the math works in his favor or not, but just something to consider if he doesn't sell it privately.
