Hi there,

Thanks to pricescope for all the great information that has made this possible! As promised, here''s some pics of the finished product.

Apologies for the poor pics- we have a camera that can''t focus very well in short distances. After a bit of cropping, this is the best we can do.

Thanks quaeritur, MrsFrk, reena, and Jean for all the kind comments

I've been a long time lurker on this forum and have learned so much but still know so little (which is why I barely post since I have so little expertise and don't want to give out misinformation).

MrsFrk- I'm so happy everything turned out ok. I was really worrying about the prospect of having to redo the entire thing. But, as you can see from the picture, the metal "bar" no longer exists and has since been filed down to look like prongs for the 2 side stones beside the center stone. The prongs for the center stone have also been filed down to look more rounded and less bulky (they must have been at least twice the size before!).

Jean- I knew someone would ask for specs!

Ok, here they are:

Center stone from DCD. We had nothing but great service from them.

. Given our positive internet experience, we would not hesitate to purchase again from DCD or from any other pricescope vendor. It just so happened that DCD had the stone we were looking for at the right time.

Negligible fluorescence
table: 57%
depth: 61.4%
crown angle: 34.9
pavilion angle: 40.8
culet: pointed
HCA: 1.6, AGA 1A (I think)

The stones right beside the center stone total 0.225 ct (so approximately 11 points each). Then there are a total of 8 melee stones (4 on each side after the 11 pointers). The 8 stones total 0.215 ct (about 3 points each). The band measures about 2.5 mm wide. The setting is 19K white gold, ring size 6.
