I posted 2 weeks ago asking to compare a local stone to the superbcert. I went with the local stone.

1.32 VS2 F center.

Pear shape sides.

I tried to take the best pictures possible but it''s hard.

what a beauty. I really love Verragio. How about some hand shots too?
Congrats

Thanks for the previous advice Josh aka Colored Gemstone Nut, I really appreciate it.

I tried taking a head on shot to see the arrows but it doesn't come out well in the pictures, I can see it but can't take a good picture, it's too reflective on top, if I block out the light on the bottom of the ring, it kinda shows it better like the picture below. I'll try again in natural light, right now using 5700K florescent light and it's the pure white light so things look blue on the camera.

I should mention that I went back to see Charles Carmona with the final appraisal and he swears that the diamond set looks as brillant, shiny, reflective, sparkly, etc as any Superbcert/Niceice/ internet bought diamond he's seen and he claims to have seen hundreds if not more of those.

Moolman, what a great job you did with the choice of ring and diamonds. It''s beautiful. Your girlfriend is a very lucky lady. Best of luck to you both.

Love the ring, Moolman. You have awesome taste...and a lucky gf!

I''ll post some hand shots later she has no clue that I bought an engagement ring yet. We picked out this ring a long time ago about 2 years ago and everytime we would go see rings, we just keep coming back to this Verragio ring, I think it was the first ring that we saw at a store. So you know what they say about going with your first instinct. Verragio is very simple, clean and elegant, not too much going on around the ring and I think that is why we like the setting so much.

Whoa, that is just so gorgeous! I love the pear sidestones! That diamond is spectacular.

Just beautiful, very sleek ane elegant and that center diamond

Isn''t that the truth!!

What an outstanding setting and diamond. Just elegant and classy! I can see some of the arrows in your pic. I know how hard it is to capture all the brilliance and fire in a photograph! But your pics are very clear and show the detail extremely well. Your gf may have an idea what the setting looks like, but she will be blown away with that RB stone!!!!
