He''s shopping for a diamond!!!

My bf said something back in December that led me to believe he may already have the ring (which is a huge part of why I thought he was proposing in Hawaii last week). However, yesterday I used his computer and I went to google something and when I started typing, it autoprompted, "buying a loose diamond"!!! So then I went to the computer's history and saw that yesterday afternoon he searched for diamonds on a bunch of websites!! Yay!

So I guess that means he doesn't already have a ring and probably won't be proposing in Feb. as I'd hoped, but the great news is that he is buying a diamond and a proposal is in our future!!

Somehow, seeing that he is looking for a diamond made it more real for me.

i did some lil'' snooping of my own on Saturday and my stone''s been bought!!!

Like you, desingchica, my proposal won''t come as early as I want it to (February) but at least things are moving, right? Fingers crossed for your stone being what you want. Did you manage to see what stones your bf was looking at? Did you drop great big, um, hints, for ages or are you leaving it up to him?

He''s looking for D color round brilliants and I dont'' know what clarity but I know his pricerange and its pretty good!

I did send him an email this morning with some pics of rings settings I like and I made a comment that I''d sacrifice some color for carat.

No more snooping though. I promise!

I agree that you should stop snooping... BUT if his computer saves past searches you might just happen to use it to "search" for your favorite D color diamond in your favorite setting. It would be oh-so-subtle!
