The members of this site provided me with honest and accurate e-ring advice that led me to purchase the ring of her dreams! I''m now in need of honeymoon advice....Has anyone been to Belize? Or have any thoughts/advice on honeymooning there? I know the big attraction is scuba/snorkling - but we''re not divers. The place just looks magical - as does every place online...

Thanks for your help.
Mike

ps - any other central america/southern carribean destination recommendations are welcomed too!
thanks.

I went to Belize last year, and it was just beautiful...so much more peaceful and serene than any other Caribbean setting I have been to. Check out the inn- Robert''s Grove- along with a resort and spa, they also offer (if you are the adventurous type) a private island, outfitted with only 2 small bungalows. You lie on the beach all day, fish, snorkel, swim, whatever you want, and they have a married couple who also lives out there- they fish, catch, and prepare all the meals. It was awesome!

Hope this helps..

Hellloooo.... I am going to Belize on my honeymoon in August!! I am super STOKED :)
I will let you know how it goes!! My father is retired from the Secret Service and used to go all over the world (he has been to 82 countries and has the most AMAZING stories....) His favorite place though is Belize, he is going to surprise my mother and take her there for a 2nd honeymoon- he has been telling us what an amazing place it is!! George Strait has a beach house there, so you know that it is awesome!!! ( I have a slight crush on that man... :)

We just got back from St. Thomas and St. John. I really enjoyed exploring St. John. It had the prettiest beaches that I''ve ever seen in my entire life... prettier than Cozumel, though Cozumel has better diving.

St. John had very secluded beaches and wild donkeys roaming around the island. Everyone spoke English.
