Hooray! Upgrade is finally set properly and back on my hot little hand!

GREAT NEWS! After 5 long weeks, my upgraded e-ring is back on my finger, perfectly set into my original setting - and I'm THRILLED!

Interesting you say this...I was never the halo-lover. FI was, as evident in his setting choice. I LOVE how the stone looks like it's BURSTING from the halo; as though the halo can barely contain the diamond. sigh. I love love love that.

And I know this is going to sound CAR-RAZY ... and I know I'm projecting, but to me, it's like a 'version' of FacetFire's extremely gorgeous Michael Bondanza setting, where the pave sits underneath the stone. (OKAY I KNOW it's a stretch

...a HUGE stretch...but that is how I like to look at it.

Although this one is blurry, I like it because it demonstrates how that wee bit of halo adds an overall "bigger" center stone look at a quick glance! FYI my finger is a size 6 and the diamond is a 1.07 - not too bad
