I''m debating whether or not to go bigger and down-grade a few of the C''s. Throw the opinions at me.

Discuss crown painting with Jon and see if you want that one.
Personally if possible I would go down in clarity and up in size.

Crown painting?
Hi About2ask,

I have an article on the subject in our "New Cut Grading" section of our Cut tutorial. While the other options pointed in this thread are fine options the 2.79 degree average crown painting on the D VS1 (seen in our Helium Reports) is a non issue. It is one of many features we check on all our H&A diamonds and we limit our purchasing to certain thresholds which is proprietary info and conservatively selected. Our personal thresholds for painting and digging easily qualify in both GIA and AGS cut grading systems in their top cut categories. Bottom line: When painting or digging compromise optics we disqualify it.

Peace,
